About Your Practitioner

Tracey is an experienced practitioner treating a full range of health problems. But she has a special interest in fertility, pregnancy, pain and injury. She studied Traditional Chinese Medicine, specializing in acupuncture at the University of Westminster; her degree included a significant amount of western medicine and clinical practice. Tracey keeps in touch with the latest research and acupuncture protocols to support her practice. She is also constantly expanding her repertoire of skills and knowledge through post-graduate training and seminars. She incorporates the latest medical technological advances into her practice from Russia called SCENAR Cosmodic technology to ensure the best results. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council, the leading body for acupuncturists in the UK, which maintains the highest standards of training, care and professionalism. All members follow a strict code of ethnics, conduct and maintain strict hygiene standards and are fully insured.
Tracey has trained with highly regarded experts in the field of gynaceology and obstetrics. She trained with Jani White’s birth company Nature Child to offer the best pre-conception care and Debra’s Betts to provide safe and effective obstetric acupuncture. She has supported many women and couples through natural conception, assisted conception and pregnancy, to post-natal support. She advocates offering advice to enable couples to make informed choices about their fertility, safe practice and supportive care throughout. Tracey will offer flexibility of treatment to work within each stage of a couple’s fertility journey.  Tracey helped create and run the NEST London network – a team of complementary practitioners and midwives who work together to support women and couples through fertility and pregnancy. Working in a team ensures that expert care is delivered to couples when they need it most. This offers an integrated, holistic approach. Contact Tracey by email for further information or call to talk about your needs.
Tracey is trained in acupuncture to alleviate pain and rapidly advance healing. She adds extra therapeutic effectiveness by also incorporating electro-acupuncture, scalp acupuncture (particularly good for strokes), moxibustion, cupping, kinesio-taping, massage and SCENAR therapy where appropriate. You may not have responded well to medical treatments in the past, but these traditional and modern techniques built on the foundations of centuries of ancient Chinese wisdom, could be the combination to make a difference. Tracey’s approach is different from practitioners such as osteopaths and physiotherapists who use needling, in that Chinese Medicine looks for underlying causes and aims to rectify these where possible to either reduce the healing time, possibility of re-injury in the future or sustain good results for longer. Tracey trained with Whitfield Reaves, who has spent over 25 years treating American athletes at all levels, including at the Los Angeles Olympic Games in 1984. She has also studied Western Sports acupuncture and Spinal Acupuncture. This allows for an integrated clinical approach incorporating Chinese and Western neurological understanding to both sports and work injuries and injury caused by conditions such as arthritis and other chronic diseases, including autoimmune diseases.
